The blogger without blog

Yes I think, I'm a blogger. But sorry I can't give you the address of my blog, I don't have one ! When I arrived in the world of blogging in March 08, everybody was saying "Blog is dead". I arrived with the rise of "micro blogging" like twitter and "social network" like Facebook. In fact those are my "blogging space".

The main important thing, for me, with a blog is not to have visits from Search Engine but to have a reading community. Search engine visits reflects more a kind of online mag not a personal blog. -yes I consider encheres-blog.com more as a webmag than a blog-. I have my community of readers (and you are probably one of them, thanks for this) when I post on twitter and Facebook. I realise (late) than Posterous was the tools I was looking for.

I don't need a "physic" webblog with a nice design... people don't see it, they read my content in RSS readers or they don't care about it, because they are looking for content. No people, blogs are not dead they just have evoluate to content present in the social sphere (a classic blog is bullshit social in comparaison with Social Networks who are live social website). I also don't think that old school blogs will disapear, they have an other role, more magazine informations kind like www.encheres-blog.com...

What are you thinking about this ? -that's also my first post in English, I hope Shakespear will apologize me !-

Note sure Shakespeare will forgive you for your english but overall, I agree with you. Who cares about the design! With so many online networks and communities, we just want our content to be read and seen where our communities are (Twitter, Facebook, flickr etc...) And you're right, this is exactly what Posterous offers. For example, this comment will be published on Facebook and Twitter at the same time... How awesome is that?

Thx for your comment I dream about improving my english... (maybe I've to go live in Denvers some times). In fact it we be awesome if your comment appears as a comment to my Facebook content to let people on Facebook following the conversation. But I'm sure this kind of service is trully the future of blogging, social networking and sharing stuff with friends. Is Web 2.0. coming only now ?
